CONSULTING

Practical help for the work
that keeps getting stuck.

When your processes, systems, and responsibilities aren’t keeping up with your business, everyday work becomes harder than it needs to be.

Where I can help.

Understand what’s happening, decide what needs to change, and put those changes into practice.

01

Work bottlenecks around one person

Decisions, approvals, and answers keep coming back to the same leader.

02

Handoffs create delays and rework

Work moves between people or teams without clear expectations, information, or ownership.

03

Manual tasks consume capacity

Your team spends time copying information, chasing updates, and repeating steps that could be simplified.

04

You can’t get a reliable view of the work

Status, deadlines, and responsibilities are scattered across tools, messages, and people’s heads.

05

Processes and tools don’t match reality

Your team works around the system because it doesn’t support what they need to do.

01 / THE DIAGNOSTIC

Understand the problem.
Know what to do next.

About two weeks

We begin with a defined operational challenge. I investigate through team interviews, process walkthroughs, and a review of relevant tools, documents, and available data.

We agree on boundaries, participation, and schedule before starting. Timing depends on complexity and access to people and information.

What you receive

  1. Current process map

Steps, handoffs, ownership, systems, and decision points.

  2. Findings and evidence

Where work gets stuck and the factors contributing to it.

  3. Business impact

Effects on time, workload, cost, service, or revenue, quantified where reliable information is available.

  4. Prioritized recommendations

What to address first, why it matters, and what can wait.

  5. Implementation roadmap

Recommended actions, sequence, dependencies, and responsibilities.

  6. Findings walkthrough

A working session to discuss recommendations and next steps.

Use the findings with your own team or continue working with me on implementation.

02 / IMPLEMENTATION

Put the improvements
to work.

Typically 4 to 12 weeks

Following the assessment, we confirm the selected changes, implementation scope, responsibilities, timeline, and cost. Larger changes can be organized into phases.

Depending on the engagement:

  • Redesign workflows and handoffs.
  • Clarify ownership, responsibilities, and decision rights.
  • Simplify manual work and identify automation opportunities.
  • Configure existing tools or define requirements for your development team.
  • Create useful dashboards, tracking, and reporting.
  • Introduce new ways of working and support adoption.

The scope reflects what needs fixing, what your team can handle, and where you need me involved.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before we start.

Do you specialize in one industry?

My experience spans telecom, B2B services, nonprofit operations, and legal services. I bring operational expertise and work with your team to understand the industry requirements that shape the work.

How much time will my team need to contribute?

The diagnostic involves selected interviews, walkthroughs, and a findings session. We agree on participation upfront. Implementation responsibilities and involvement are defined with the scope.

Do we need to know what’s causing the problem?

No. Bring the issue you’re experiencing. Investigating the cause is part of the work.

Can our own team implement the recommendations?

Yes. You can purchase the diagnostic independently and use the findings and roadmap with your internal team.
